Denis
Reggie
Acclaimed “the great wedding photographer of our day” by Town and Country, and “best of the best” by Harpers Bazaar, Denis Reggie single-handedly changed the look and redefined success in wedding photography. He coined the phrase “wedding photojournalism” as he launched a new era of reactive, documentary coverage that rocked the wedding world for both photographers and brides.
Denis has photographed more famous weddings than most of us have even read about. Many of his clients are celebrities of film, television, music, and political life including Ted Turner, Tom Clancy, Karenna Gore, Peter Jennings, Prince Alexandre von Furstenberg, Mariah Carey, Alan Greenspan, James Taylor and Don Henley. Of his 1,700+ wedding assignments, more than 18 have been for members of the Kennedy family including those of Caroline Kennedy, and Maria Shriver to now-California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. His iconic wedding image of John Kennedy, Jr. reaching, like a modern Galahad, to kiss the hand of his bride has been described as “one the greatest wedding photographs of all time.”
